Amidst a hectic year of recording their album and touring across Europe, the UK and Australia, Naarm-based shoegaze acts Oceans and Mayzie have teamed up for their sophomore LP “Luminosity.”

The record showcases a refreshing and vibrant take on their traditionally driven shoegaze sound, paying homage to the sounds of 90’s dream pop and new wave acts like Cocteau Twins and Joy Division along the way.

Tom and Mayzie joined NewFangled to discuss touring, the new record and perform “One Track Mind” and “Laura” off their incredible new LP.
