On The Death Of PEP 11

The controversial PEP 11 gas project has come up against stiff competition from both environmental campaigners and Liberal MPs whose electorates would be affected. Last year Prime Minister Scott Morrison formally opposed PEP 11, and yesterday he wrote to the NSW government to formally request it refuse to renew the licence, effectively killing the prospect of drilling. On the front lines was Laura Wells – environmental advocate and a board member of the Surfrider Foundation, who spearheaded the campaign against PEP 11. She joined The Daily’s Stef Posthuma to tell us more.
