How one kitchen is tackling our big waste problem

Last night when you ate dinner, did you finish it all, or did you throw some away?  This month, Australian non-profit organisation, Foodbank, released statistics showing that $8 billion dollars worth of edible food is discarded each year. At the same time, 15% of Australian are experiencing food insecurity. There are some amazing community organisations trying to tackle this unfair discrepancy. One of the Sydney organisations, based in Bondi, is called Our Big Kitchen.  Matt is joined by founder of Our Big Kitchen, Rabbi Dr Dovid Slavin to talk more about what the organisation is doing to help.
