A new research from the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Coral Reefs found out only 2 per cent of the Great Barrier Reef is unbleached thanks to the multiple heatwaves and the rising temperatures of our oceans.
The research found out climate change cannot be studied as an isolated event, and it needs to be seen as a holistic strategy to mitigate and tackle climate change for the benefit not only of the Great Barrier Reef, but for all the ecosystems.
