Options for vaginal breech birth limited in Australia

For many women who find out they have a baby in breech position, the only option offered for birth is a caesarean.
But for a select few, having an operation is not the way they want to deliver their child. Karol Petrovska is a PhD student at the University of Technology Sydney. She has recently published a paper looking at the experiences of women planning a vaginal breech birth in Australia.
She has found that women want to be given more information about breech birth, and that there is a defect of clinicians who can perform a vaginal breech birth.
