Optus hacker apologised and deleted data. Is it over now?
The customer information theft from Optus continues.
Today, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced Optus will pay for passport replacements for those affected.
This week, the person who hacked Optus apologized saying they have deleted the information and no ransom was paid.
Advocates and experts say this is not over.
