Organisations push for better rural and remote support
This week the National Rural Health Alliance has called for the Federal Government to provide better support for those in rural and remote communities in Australia.
The push comes after social, economic, health and environmental issues within these communities causing a ripple effect on primary industries like agriculture, aquaculture, mining and even transport. These effects have in turn impacted resources for urban and metropolitan areas.
The Alliance calls for immediate action to combat these problems, with both private and public industries to lend their own support within their respective areas
