Parliament sexual harassment training optional for some
The federal government released a tender on Monday 14th June, seeking an organisation to conduct their sexual harassment training in order to promote a safe and respectful workplace to Parliamentarians and their staff.
The documents reveal that the training may be optional for some, and education sessions could only last one hour.
Intended outcomes for parliament staff include understanding what behaviours constitute assault, serious and systemic bullying, and harassment.
