Parramatta’s Historic Female Factory Named a National Heritage Site

Western Sydney’s Parramatta Female Factory precinct was a convict-era site where “uncontrollable” young convict women were sent to be “reformed”. This year, the precinct has been listed as one of Australia’s most significant historical places.
