Part Time Students Found To Be More Likely To Drop Out Of University
A new report from the Grattan Institute has found that one in five students – that is more than 50,000 students – are more likely to drop out than completing their course within eight years. Part time students, however happen to be at a very high risk of not completing their degree, largely because they have other major responsibilities related to work and home.
Our producer Adrian Nguyen spoke to Andrew Norton, the Higher Education Director of the Grattan Institute, who also co-wrote the report, on the risks and mitigations of losing the move.
