If you haven’t heard of it already, WorldPride is an international LGBTQIA+ festival that is over two decades old and cities around the world compete to host these festivities every few years. After it took place in cities like New York, London and Rome, it is now time for WorldPride to hit Australian shores.

Taking place from the 17th of Feb to the 5th of March, the event will incorporate all the aspects of Mardi Gras we all know and love, as well as hundreds of other events. View the full itinerary here. 

Daniel Clarke, who is the Festival Creative Director of WorldPride Arts had a chat with Jasmin on Wednesday Drive all about Sydney World Pride, the significance of World Pride for the LGBTQIA+ community and gave a glimpse into the festivities and importance of Sydney World Pride.
