Based out of southeast Ohio, The Laughing Chimes is a musical project of siblings Evan and Quinn Seurkamp, a band that draws inspiration from American and British jangle pop from the 80s and 90s (and maybe even a little bit of that Dunedin Sound)

On their spellbinding sophomore album, Whispers in the Speech Machine, The Laughing Chimes fully embrace their Southern Gothic influences, cannily balancing the light of their infectious pop with the shadow of their rust belt environs.

It’s an album we’ve been loving here at 2SER and we equally loved having Evan join us from Ohio.
