‘Pay with a post-it’: acts of pandemic-fuelled kindness
There’s no denying that given society’s current circumstances, we are living in uncertainty and anxiety, and could all use a little bit of positivity in our lives. A coffee shop in Brisbane, Bean N Loaf, has done exactly that.
Located in Fitzgibbon, the café has recently incorporated a ‘pay with a Post-It’ campaign, which involves paying for two coffees and paying one of them ‘forward’ – allowing someone who is doing it tough to grab a post-it note and enjoy a coffee that has already been paid for. 2SER Drive chatted with Rudra Chhetri, the owner of the coffeehouse, and discussed the importance of small acts of kindness within these dire times.
