We use our phones for pretty much everything these days. From banking to Facebook, all our information is on our mobiles. Now most of us have a password to keep all of this data safe, but new technology can bypass your passwords and hack your phone. And now the government has their hands on this technology after buying it from a private company.

The Daily spoke with Nigel Phair, Director at Centre for Internet Safety at the University of Canberra, about what this means for our phone privacy.
