The physical health benefits of volunteering

Globally, Australia ranks 2nd only to Africa in terms of volunteer participation with more than 5 million Australians volunteering their time to a cause.
Volunteering provides not only benefits to the persons, group or organisation in which you are involved with, but too the volunteer themselves – resulting in a greater sense of community, mental wellbeing and also physical health outcomes.
