A place to call home
House values in Sydney grew by 19 per cent in the last 12 months while wages only grew by two per cent in the same period. Housing is becoming the top political issue and the federal government is under increasing pressure to address it in the budget. But state governments can be part of the solution too. We talk to David Barrow, lead organiser with Sydney Alliance who is working to make sure zoning regulations plan for affordable housing.
