We have had an extraordinary six months. First devastating bushfires destroyed many natural ecosystems, homes and livelihoods in Australia. Now, most of us are sheltering indoors to help bring the invisible threat of a virus under control. You may not think that the two are related… but some experts in infectious disease and environmental health believe that in fact they are deeply connected. So, what lessons can we learn? How much is out of our control?
