Plans to make Sydney a ‘Plug and Play’ City

A plan to boost Sydney’s street life and activity has been proposed under a ‘plug and play’ city which makes public performances more accessible to audiences and artists. This proposal, in collaboration with the Committee for Sydney, aims to make the streets of Sydney more lively with events, pop-up performances, community conversation and gatherings all year-round. In the future, we can hope to see more infrastructure and staging facilities around the city to bring community and culture closer together.

James Murray speaks with CEO of the Sydney Fringe Festival, Kerri Glasscock, about her ‘plug and play’ vision with the Committee for Sydney.
