Plant based meats and consumer attitudes

More and more plant-based meats are available these days – and they’re good for the environment.

Even occcasionally having a plant-based meal when you eat out instead of a meat dish can greatly reduce the environmental footprint of the global food system.

But people aren’t always keen to try them out. How do we help that along?

Dr David Fechner, Research Fellow Social Marketing at Griffith University and his colleagues took a look at what people thought about plant-based meats, and joined us this morning to share what they found.
