In this first flight of Pod Voyage, we are joined by comedian and Port Macquarie native, Alia Lievore. Having spent her youth “roaming” the streets around Port Macquarie with her friends, there is nobody better to guide us into this coastal city that is often overlooked as a destination in itself. Alia talks to us about all the best attractions in Port, from the scenic views at the Tacking Point Lighthouse to the beautiful ecosystem of the Sea Acres Rainforest.

And while there’s no place like home, Alia has had her fair share of foreign experiences as well, which she shares with us throughout the journey. Having been everywhere from South America to  Italy (a trip for which she paid her own way!) to Bali, Alia has plenty of stories to tell, and I for one am thrilled to listen to them.

When you get the chance, you can find Alia at many of the stand up shows around Sydney because as well as being an experienced traveller she is a very good comedian!
