Politicians ‘double-dipping’ living allowances

Should politicians be allow to ‘double-dip’ when it comes to living allowances while at work?
Politicians who stay in their spouse’s home while in Canberra are still able to pocket the $273 taxpayer-funded rent allowance.
But is the practice fair? And do we need an overhaul of politicians’ allowances?
