Portraits, Pits, and Punks: Rod Hunt’s photography exhibition hits Sydney
For the past 25 years Sydney photographer Rod Hunt has been in the moshpit with a camera, documenting the Sydney punk music scene. In between his time in the pit and touring the country to shoot at iconic Australian music festivals, he also works as the photo editor for Unbelievably Bad magazine. Tomorrow night he begins his first solo exhibition, looking through some of the finest photos of his career. Titled ‘Rod Hunt: Portraits, Pits and Punks, the exhibition is running at the Chrissie Cotter Gallery in Camperdown, and will run until the 26th of february. Tomorrow night it kicks off at six, and the event will be opened by legendary music photographer Tony Mott.
