The Problem with Permanent Visa Laws

The Australian permanent residency visa is an ideal choice for people who wish to remain in Australia indefinitely, and also retain their citizenship of another country. However, these visas are revoked whenever the person commits a crime, and they are deported back to their home countries.

Most recently, Cambodian man Hong Ung was deported back to Cambodia while his family remained in Australia. To discuss the topic, Vic Bentley, Partner and Migration agent at The Migration Centre joins us now.
