Protecting Our National Digital Heritage

National records are collected and archived by the Australian government and play an important part in constructing a national digital identity. These records include a wide range of information, from property records and the births and deaths registries as well as tax records. However with the rise in cyber crimes, what happens if these were to breached, and how do we protect these records against hacks?
