Protecting our puppies from heatstroke this summer

We are already starting to experience some beautiful warm weather and I’m sure you are ready to make the most out of opportunities to be outside. You might wish to exercise in the Spring air perhaps even walking your dog. But before you grab your leash and hit the pavement with your pup, it’s important to think about how the heat can affect your bestfriend.

Today on the Daily we were joined by Head of general practice at the University of Melbourne’s U-Vet clinic, Leonie Richards to discuss how dogs can be susceptible to heatstroke and how to look after your furry friend on hot days.
