Protecting the Gardens of Stone

Australia is certainly a land of extreme and rugged beauty, spawning some of the most unique animals and plants species known to science.  You don’t have to go far from urban Sydney to experience dramatic land-forms and exquisite ancient habitats. Yet, two hours west of Sydney, a rare gem called the ‘Gardens of Stone’ is threatened by poor management and resource extraction.  Jess spoke with Keith Muir, Director of the Colong Foundation for Wilderness about what measures need to be taken, in order to protect Australia’s natural beauty.
