Protesters across Australia want an end to gendered violence

This weekend, tens of thousands of protesters gathered in cities across Australia to demand action against gendered violence and domestic abuse.
Sparked by a significant rise in the number of women killed this year, with all alleged perpetrators being men – the community is demanding greater action from governments.
In Meanjin, more than 3,000 protesters gathered in Brisbane’s CBD.
