Quashing The Myths About Autism Spectrum Disorder

One of the most misunderstood conditions in the world just so happens to be one of the most well-known conditions in society: Autism. From the concept that individuals with autism cannot learn and socialise to the idea that everyone with autism is like ‘Rain Man’ – able to recite the phone book or all the states in the US – shows like ‘Atypical’ on Netflix attempt to improve our awareness but still miss the mark when it comes to getting a rounded understanding of what Austism Spectrum Disorder actually is.
