Re-Place Rethinks Recycling Replaced Clothes

Re-Place is the place to be if you’re looking for a place to donate old clothes you’ve replaced. Maybe you’re on the other side, and are looking for budget options with a sustainable model. Re-Place is hosting a weekly pop-up at the Sustainability Hub in Summer Hill every Saturday in July and August, where every item is under $20.

Leyne Elbourne, manager at Re Place was on the line with Tuesday Drive’s Jono to chat about how they ethically divert secondhand clothes from the landfill as responsibly as possible, how they receive, sort and data capture the clothes, and what the recycling process is for unusable clothes.

The Reused Clothes Pop-up Shop is happening every Saturday in July and August from: 11am to 3pm at 7 Prospect Road, Summer Hill NSW 2130 on Gadigal Country. Free entry (RSVP here).
