Google searching, scrolling through Facebook, and laughing at memes – these are harmless actions right? However, these everyday actions have a large impact on shaping online environments, and have the potential to enable harmful racist content. As we move towards greater regulation of online spaces, it is important that we begin to understand our responsibilities as digital citizens, and our role in online racism.
