Renewable Energy Update: Energy Percentage in Australian Grid
This week we examined the record amount of renewable energy contributing to Australia’s energy grid in the last 12 months. The last day of winter has seen Australia’s National Electricity Market record an annual average of 37.5% renewable energy, with coal contributing just 57.4% of grid energy. This is a great victory for decarbonising our economies!
