RENEWABLE ENERGY UPDATE: First Week of COP28 Announcements

The first week of COP28 has come and gone. One of the biggest announcements was the pledge signed by 118 countries to triple the global capacity of renewable energy by 2030, and Australia is one of those signatories. With only six years to achieve that target, this pledge is an aggressive attempt to prepare the world for a transition to renewable sources to quickly halt rising global temperatures.
