Renewable Energy Update: Smelting Steel with Lower Emissions

This week, Dr Matt Wright spoke to Jack Gembitsky about multinational energy company Fortescue Future Industries, and their new method for smelting iron into steel, without generating as much emissions as a blast furnace does.

Fortescue Future Industries  new renewable chemical electrolysis is a chemical process that reportedly reduces emissions. While they are keeping the exact process under confidentially, this development is a welcome addition to generating renewable energy.
