Report reveals alarming rates of child strip searches by NSW police
A report by Sydney’s Redfern Legal Centre says New South Wales police subjected more than 1500 children to invasive strip searches over 7 years.
Fist Nations children made up almost 45 per cent of children strip searched, despite representing just 6 percent of all 10- to 17-year-olds in New South Wales.
