Trees are an integral part of nature’s complex web of life, as they provide habitat for a variety of insects, plants and animals, as well as moderating climate within our urban environments, whilst removing pollutants. However, in a contemporary city such as Sydney, where the pressures of urban development and economic growth reign supreme, trees and their habitats are being cleared at an alarming rate.
