Reviving Reasons to Hope

In a world-first breakthrough, studies conducted by the University of California have found a way to restore function and feeling in patients suffering from brain and spinal cord injuries. The US clinical trials, involving neurostimulation, are set to be continued in Australia under a partnership with the University of Technology, Sydney. A UTSpeaks panel is being held tonight, to further explain the partnership and future research. Nic spoke with key researchers Prof. Reggie Edgerton from UCLA and Prof Bryce Vissel from UTS.
