Rice breeding initiative to reduce crops eco footprint

A black rice breeding project could reduce the crop’s environmental impact by developing new ‘climate smart’ varieties of rice.
The initiative is a collaboration between Southern Cross University, Australian Research Council and the Natural Rice Company.
