Rishi Sunak’s days as UK PM numbered

The snap election for the UK of July 4  will probably do little to ameliorate the impending disaster facing the divided Conservative Party.

Although Keir Starmer’s Labour Party is not terribly popular either, it would take a cataclysmic series of errors to prevent him becoming the UK’s next Prime Minister.

Interest rests in the new Reform party, which is a rightist party that has emerged from Nigel Farage’s Brexit campaigning.   This could be the reason Rishi Sunak went early, in an attempt to sandbag any momentum which would harm the Conservative right sections of their constituency.
