Rising higher education fees
The government’s plan to increase University fee’s means that many students entering tertiary education will be paying substantially more for higher education. To add to this problem, job growth has been sluggish yet there are more students enrolled and studying in tertiary institutions.
Students make the decision to pursue higher education in order to access better employment in their field yet given the current job market and changes to higher education fee’s, is higher education a worthwhile investment for better employment opportunities?
