Riverside Theatres Reopens Doors with ‘Spot On Children’s Festival’

Since COVID hit, we’ve all felt the restless COVID rut, including the little ones in our lives. In the past year, kids have had to adapt to online schooling, be isolated from their friends and families and deal with the fear of a worldwide pandemic! That’s a tall order for fully grown adults let alone children.

Some kids haven’t even seen much of the outside world that much this year, and with school holidays fast approaching parents may be are floundering for ideas to keep their kids both occupied and COVID safe. Well Amy Matthews, from Riverside Theatres may just have the answer! She joined Felix Shannon on Drive to chat about Riverside Theatres re-opening their doors to physical audiences for the first time in months with the ‘Spot On Children’s Festival’. There’s live performances from big Aussie kids music acts like The Beanies, Tiptoe Giants and Avocado Smash as well as workshops featuring some of these artists for kids to interact with both live in theatres and at home via podcasts. It’s running from Tuesday 29th of September – Friday 2nd October and tickets are available here
