Rover Is Over. Opportunity Is Lost.

Rover is Over!  Our beloved little martian-dwelling friend who has been beaming scientific images and info back, to help us imagine our future on the red planet, has sent this final message “My battery is low, and it’s getting dark now.” On Valentine’s Day, NASA announced the end of the rover Opportunity’s successful mission. Tom Gordon, Senior Science Communicator at the University Sydney jumped on the phone to tell us about what the Opportunity rover did to serve the future of science.
