RSPCA Threatens to walk out over Cage Eggs
In the development of new poultry policy standards, the RSPCA have threatened to walk out unless the industry considers the phasing out of caged eggs. The RSPCA have came to the conclusion that battery cages are harmful and cruel to hens, while the poultry industry argues that caged eggs play vital roles in the diet of Australians who cannot afford free range eggs.
