Rural Connection: Wildlife Pulled From NSW Floods
Intense flooding across NSW and QLD has become the latest catastrophe endangering the lives of Australian wildlife, following seasons of drought and fire. The country’s largest mobile wildlife hospital, Matilda, has set up in Knockrow near Ballina to treat all creatures great and small.
2SER Breakfast’s Willy Russo was joined by Stephen Van Mil, CEO and Founder of the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, to hear what they have encountered on the ground.
