Sam I Am with Dan Graham

Young, deaf and trying to figure out how to come out in two worlds during one of Australia’s most painful and divisive periods of social progress, Sam I Am is a new work from young film-maker Sam Martin who knows all too well about these struggles. A poignant and uplifting story, Sam draws upon his rawest coming-of-age moments for a rare insight into the experience of a gay deaf millennial trying to find his identity during the marriage equality plebiscite. Neurodiverse theatre director Dan Graham and director of Sam I Am spoke to Alex on 2SER.
