SAMPA THE GREAT ‘AS ABOVE, SO BELOW’

Thursday Drive’s host and Yours Mine & Femme! co-host Beth Tracey had the honour of catching up with 2SER Feature Artist, Sampa the Great to discuss her amazingly healing, powerful and all around astonishing new record ‘As Above, So Below’.

Sampa recorded this stellar record over the course of only two weeks after returning home to Zambia during the pandemic; working with incredible icons in the bizz like Angelique Kidjo, Denzel Curry, Joey Bada$$ and producer Mag44 whom Sampa has dubbed “the Timbaland of Zambia”. Listen in to Beth and Sampa as they discuss the process of recording this album and collaborating with such diverse icons.
