HER – sanitary products in Kenya

Each year in Kenya alone 850 000 girls will miss a combined 2.5 million days of school as they are unable to afford sanitary items like pads or tampons.
In response, two Aussie men have created the company HER to break this cycle. For every box of HER tampons sold in Australia, they will donate sanitary products to a developing country. One of the founders, David Wommelsdorff joined presenter Sam Baran to talk about HER.
