Scandinavian Film Festival Premieres “The Man”
Since the time of Ingmar Bergman and Carl Dreyer, the films of the Scandinavian countries have obtained a universal appeal with audiences around the world. And that continues to be the case with directors like Lars Van Trier, Aki Kaurismaki, and Thomas Vinterberg among a long-list of talent.
Also these days with many cutting edge Scandinavian television series, whether Nordic noir or powerful social commentary, it seems the world cannot get enough of Scandinavian drama.
Today, Mick spoke to the mutli-talented actress and director Charlotte Sieling who has directed television shows like “Borgen” and “The Killing” and whose new film “The Man”, which premieres tonight at the Scandinavian Film Festival.
