Hundreds of kilometres from the northern coast of Western Australia is the idyllic waters of Ashmore reef. Expeditors in the 60s and 70s said that the reef was home to more sea snakes and different types of species than anywhere else in the world. Now, they’re all gone- and we don’t know why.
