Seaside, Appetite, Don’t Let The Sharks Bite
Nobody wants to get bitten by a shark. Unfortunately it is something to be aware of when you want to swim or surf in the Australian waters. However, a lot of research is trying to find ways how we can prevent shark attacks. Associate Professor of Biological Sciences Nathan Hart and his colleagues did a study into the influence of environmental conditions on the risk of shark attacks. They used this data to create models which can predict when and where the risk of shark bites is the highest.
