Sending 5 Young People to Antarctica: Antarctic Cities Youth Expedition
Five young people are currently on an expedition like no other, a trip of a lifetime to Antarctica. This is no cruise, the young leaders from the Antarctic Cities in New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, Argentina and Australia’s representative Chloe Power from Hobart are on a research expedition taking part in discussions on how the cities can together care for the Antarctic.
We will be chatting to Chloe Power from Hobart about the expedition when she returns from Antarctica in late February. To find out more about the project Jess spoke with lead researcher from the Western Sydney University Professor Juan Salazar.
